“Dear Friends, I wanted to let you know that Shadzaar and I are taking a vacation to my Monastery. We are going to be getting married,
and likely I’ll go through the change. I would have invited you all, but my covenant is particularly reclusive and traditional. That means they prefer no uninitiated guests, unless you are just passing through. Or, in this case, the future spouse of a Monk in my group is welcome. So unfortunately, this is a situation that will involve only Shadzaar and myself. And when you read this, Rilith, there are no more hard feelings between us. And this is something I cannot control. But, I will bring you sketches, the marital sash and maybe some new outfits. So, forgive us for disappearing so abruptly. We are excited. And P.S.: will you water our plants while we’re away? We’re going to already be gone by the time you get this. So we’ll see you all in a few weeks!”
